Simon Bookish

Simon Bookish is the stage name of Leo Chadburn,[1] an experimental musician and classical composer from Coalville, Leicestershire. He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama from 1997 to 2001.[2]

He has provided remixes of songs for bands and artists such as Grizzly Bear, Franz Ferdinand, The Organ, and Owen Pallett.[3] He has also contributed to the albums of Leafcutter John, Max de Wardener, Patrick Wolf, and Saint Etienne.[4] In 2007 he worked with the Royal National Theatre on a new musical score for The Caucasian Chalk Circle.[5][6] To date he has released three albums and has been on a number of European solo tours. He has also appeared on a collaborative album to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pink Floyd's The Wall, The Wall Re-built!, by Mojo Magazine.
